Godzilla: King of the Monsters is an up and coming American beast movie coordinated and co-composed by Michael Dougherty. It is a spin-off of Godzilla (2014) and will be the 35th film in the Godzilla establishment, the third film in Legendary’s MonsterVerse, and the third Godzilla film to be totally delivered by a Hollywood studio.
The film stars Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga, Millie Bobby Brown, Bradley Whitford, Sally Hawkins, Charles Dance, Thomas Middleditch, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Ken Watanabe, and Zhang Ziyi. It is one of Yoshimitsu Banno’s last movies as official maker, as he passed on May 7, 2017.

The spin-off was green-lit amid the opening few days of Godzilla, with unique chief Gareth Edwards anticipated that would return. After Edwards left the venture in May 2016, Dougherty, who had been enlisted in October 2016 to re-compose the content with Zach Shields, was reported as the executive in January 2017. Main photography started in June 2017 in Atlanta and finished in September 2017. Godzilla: King of the Monsters is booked to be discharged on May 31, 2019, in 2D, 3D, Dolby Cinema and IMAX. A continuation, Godzilla versus Kong, is booked to catch up on May 22, 2020.
